Composer Steve Jablonsky's second stab at setting music to images of military and science fiction carnage echoes the bold, overtly serious tone of its predecessor and remains the one bright spot in the notoriously one-dimensional Transformers series. Like his boss Hans Zimmer, whose studio Remote Control Productions he has spent considerable time in honing his skills, Jablonsky is a highly skilled sculptor of musical bravado. His deft blending of the orchestral and the electronic (as well as the punishingly percussive) yields fruit that is size appropriate to the film's giant alien robots/waste management vehicles. ~ James Christopher Monger, All Music Guide

  - This soundtrack sounds really epic from the hit movie Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. It has great instrumental numbers from the film that music and movie lovers come to hear.

  - This soundtrack is so much more organic and ancient sounding than the first. This, obviously, makes sense becuase much of the story is made up of finding out things about the past in acient "Earth times." Fantastic score. I'm glad they released it along with The Album instead of a few months after!!!
