Sounding like virtually none of his contemporaries (except perhaps Future Sound of London), Jack Dangers puts industrial textures to work as a mask for intense vocal samples and breakbeat rhythms plus the occasional organic instrument like guitar and even clarinet. Though Subliminal Sandwich sprawls a bit over the course of its two discs (much like FSOL's Lifeforms), it only rarely fails to excite. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
