  I wanted to really not like this album even though I have been a maxwell fan ever since ascension drop in '96 but after finally hearing the entire album back to back over two days I have to say it was not a bad effort. Still this album wasn't what I had hoped but then maybe maxwell is changing and as an artist in his style or maybe I have changed, I dunno. So maxwell I'll give you a "decent" on this one.  Let's see what the sequel brings...

  Maxwell.. Why did he make us wait 8 years to release new work?  I hope he never make us (his fans) wait that long again. This CD is superb, Maxwell is a true artist.

• When Words Can't Emphasize...

  I am so enamored with Blacksummer's Night!  After the somewhat, "Stockholm syndrome" effect caused by his hiatus; this audio artistry allows me to, live it, feel it, BREATH IT!!! (LOL) Actually, it is the most original, soulful and imaginary audio masterpiece offered in the 21st century by a male Soul Artist; but what would you expect from the enigmatic Maxwell!!!

  Men he better had come back wid something this good after being goon so long.  I would reccomend is album to anybody.  Pretty Wings is such an awesome track.  Welcome back Maxwell.

  I'm all about good music and that what this album is! Just add this to the rest of his albums! I'm chillin to every track! I wish Pheonix Rise was longer but it's on the mark! Keep it going!
