The second release on Mouse on Mars' in-house imprint, Sonig, Jan Werner's Uni Umit is a delightful collection of smudgy, impressionistic electronica similar in feel to the less structured of MoM's material, as well as to other Koln-based artists such as Kandis/Senking and F.X. Randomiz. Featuring only a handful of casual, willfully underproduced cuts incoporating elements (vague, abstracted ones) of ambient, electro, house, and even musique concrete, Uni Umit is brief but satisfying, revealing layer upon layer of obscure detail with each listen. ~ Sean Cooper, All Music Guide
