There isn't a single guitar lick to be found on Commodore Rock. Instead, a robotic-paced trance of synth-soaked pop conquers this entire EP. Commodore Rock definitely lives up to its name as Ladytron recall Devo with their quirky structure and heavy Moog usage. On top of the female vocals -- they are called Ladytron after all -- and danceable beats, fans of Servotron or Man...or Astroman? could appreciate this. ~ Mike DaRonco, All Music Guide
