AMAZING

This is by far my favorite rap/hip- hop album of all time. The soulful up lifting music is complimented by an interesting story within the lyrics. This is definitely an album to buy if you enjoyed the singles because it is somewhat of a "rap opera" (a term I believe was coined by myself :D) meaning that it is an album that is intended to be listened to in its totality. It follows "the man on the moon" (CuDI) into the "dream realm" where he faces adversity. I know it sounds rather cliched or trekky-esque but It is handled in a very interesting and not overpowering way. In addition the story parallels to CuDI's actually life, which makes it seem more personal and more meaningful. Finally his striving to overcome his troubles is ultimately extreme comforting. I was never a fan of hip hop prior to this release but I still enjoyed it immensely. I suggest listening to this at night while driving through an urban area with a lot of lights.
