As is perhaps to be expected from one of the featured performers in the Riverdance troupe, Katie McMahon's solo debut follows much the same musical path, mixing traditional Irish folk, classical and contemporary world music as realized by instruments like the bodhran, uilleann pipes, bouzouki, whistles, harp and fiddle. McMahon's voice is stunning, used to particularly beautiful effect on "Heartland," one of the most popular Riverdance songs. ~ Jason Ankeny, All Music Guide
