Otis stopped off at King Records for a while during the early '60s, making clever 45s that no one paid much attention to. Twenty-two of them are here, including five by the late Johnny "Guitar" Watson (whose "In the Evenin'" is chillingly direct). It's a mixed bag -- vocal group stuff, twist workouts, and the inevitable sequel "Hand Jive One More Time" (alas, nobody did). ~ Bill Dahl, All Music Guide
