Silva Screen's Film Music Masterworks: Original Soundtracks collects ten selections from award-winning composer James Horner's impressive canon as played by the always reliable City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra. Horner has done some oddball films (Captain EO), Krull, Wolfen), so it's nice to see that some of his more obscure works, like the theme of "Willow" and the "End Titles" for Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn are included, but do we really need another version of "My Heart Will Go On" from Titanic? ~ James Christopher Monger, All Music Guide
