the first time I listen to her was many years ago with Exodus 04 and have love her ever since! Here Japanese releases have been great and her latest US album is awesome!
If you've heard any album from Utada Hikaru, this is one to add to your list. Her musical style takes a road less traveled with this more experimental, industrial pop album. Full of powerful, and some dark, songs, Exodus shines as a refreshing and stark changes for her music.
This album is stand-alone and while it did not sell well in the united states, it is one of, in my opinion, Utada Hikaru's most enjoyable albums. With songs like Hotel Lobby, You Make Me Want To Be A Man, Kremlin Dusk, and Animato, Utada shows a different side to her personality than is usually present.
Definitely a change in musical style from her former and preceeding albums, but it's a nice little taste of the different flavors Utada is capable of.
