Previously known for his well-crafted combination of Jamaican reggae, electric funk, and tropical music, on his fifth full-length record Argentinean singer/songwriter Diego Torres mostly comprises different traditional Latin rhythms in a contemporary style. Co-produced by Kike Santander and Cachorro López, this 13-track album was recorded in Buenos Aires, Madrid, Miami, and Milan. Un Mundo Diferente (A Different World) features the hit singles "Color Esperanza" and "Sueños," the flamenco-inflected "Una Gotita de Amor," a bolero-stylized "Conmigo Siempre," the Spanish rhumba "Que No Me Pierda," and an orchestrated Latin pop song titled "Perdidos En La Noche."
