This album begins with a short but punchy, tight, and effective "Call It Off," which sounds like a less than polished Fall Out Boy. It's a very strong number that, while it's been done hundreds of times before, would definitely get the teenage crowd off their chairs. It's a perfect Warped Tour track if there ever was one. Saturated with just as much ear candy is the lovely, Green Day-leaning "Bad Intentions," the tender and slow-building pop of "Life Is in the Air," and "Back to Oregon," which would fit perfectly alongside The Academy Is.... What is most pleasing and refreshing about this album is that they tear into each song with the same amount of passion and verve, as is the case with the fantastic two-minute romp "Suffer the Kids" and the equally adorable "Escape from Capitol Hill." The first tune that sounds a bit as if they've let off the gas pedal is the decent but not jaw-dropping "Three Weeks." However, things get back up to speed with a rollicking "Daniel, My Brother," which puts things back on course. The lone departure from the punk feel is the quick singer/songwriter ditty "Save Our Ship," which could create a singalong during the second half of the tune. Perhaps the biggest highlight here is how well the lengthy "Classless Reunion" comes off. ~ Jason MacNeil, All Music Guide
