Everything in this album has been done, not only by this band, but by every other generic hip hop band since the creation of time and space. There's nothing new here.
I was really excited when I heard that the Black Eyed Peas were coming back with a new album. I was a little worried when I heard Boom Boom Pow. When I finally got to hear the other songs from their DipDive I still was not fully convinced that this would be as good as Monkey Business or Elephunk. However I bought the Target edition because of the price and the the extra 10 remixes and songs you get with it. To my surprise I am in love with the entire album except "Showdown" that song hasn't groen on me yet. This is not the typical album that I had expected from the BEP, but that is a good thing in this case. The stand out songs on this album are
. The thing that I love most about this album is the fact that Fergie has a couple songs where she is very soft and not so punk/rap/rocker chick. It is reminiscent of her song
. This song was one of my favorites from her solo album. Over all this album is not so R&B as the previous two albums, but it is still the Peas. The E.n.d. (The Energy Never Dies) surely lives up to its name offering great up beat/ electronic songs that will have everyone dancing and having a great time!
