I'm one of those people who likes to listen to different genres of music and I really appreciate Beyonce's versatility on the I Am/Sasha Fierce deluxe discs. I love "Sweet Dreams","Radio", "Ave Maria", and of course "Single Ladies" , "Halo" just to name a few. Beyonce is a talented vocalist/performer.
with this album, you can see a maturity in her that most of her fans were waiting to hear from her voice. Her other albums were more pop and supremely out there to maintain their mainstream image, but with this new album it seems as if she took a look at what life really is and expressed it in new genres, lyrics, and way of using her voice. I didnt like this album at first after i listened to tracks like "radio" and "put a ring on it" was annoying at first... i let time pass and listened to the full album and fell in love.
BEYONCE CAN SING SO GOOD. I CAN SING AS GOOD AS HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YA'LL DON'T GOTTA HATE SIKE NALL BUT CAN SOME OF YA'LL BY MY FRIEND PLEAZ???????????
BEYONCE IS A GREAT SINGER TO ME, I THINK SHE'S AWESOME. BUT THIS CD WASN'T AS GOOD AS B'DAY OR DANGEROUSLY IN LOVE. BUT I DID LIKE THE FIRST TWO SINGLES SHE RELEASED FROM THE ALBUM ALSO HALO AND DIVA. DIVA KINDS OF SOUNDS LIKE A MILLI BY LIL' WAYNE JUST WITH HER FABULOUS VOICE. BUT I WANT TO SEE CADILLAC RECORDS AND SHE DOES A GOOD REMAKE OF AT LAST WHICH WAS ORIGINALLY CREATED BY ETTA JAMES WHO SHE PLAYS IN THE MOVIE
This isn't the album you would expect from Beyoncé and honestly...I love it. I've always been a Beyoncé fan but never a huge one. I like her, I admired her for how hard she's always worked, and overall she's a good artist. However, I am certainly impressed with the slightly toned down feeling of this album and honestly thing it is her best. Her last were undoubtedly great, but this blows them away. I love the oldies feel of Sweet Dreams, the fun poppy feel of Radio, and the classic feel of Ave Maria. I'm very proud of her. People need to give her a break and understand that you have to expand yourself.
I have always loved Beyonce, but I was a little iffy about the whole Sasha Fierce. After listening to the entire CD I have a better idea and understanding of what she was going for. I think this was a great idea for her. A two disc CD that had two different types of music... I Am... -- this half of the CD is by far the most grown and mature that I have ever heard from her. Everyone has heard "IIWAB", but the two stand out songs from this half have to be "Halo" and "Smash Into You" the other songs on this half are great, but these will be heard for years to come, and they will hopefully be released and win her more grammies. Sasha Fierce -- The other half of this CD.. the more up-tempo and dance floor anthems can be found here. Every single womans theme song can be found here along with the self boasting "Ego" and the sensual "Video Phone". For all the big Beyonce fans "Sweet Dreams" makes a return from last summer when it was leaked in early May. It has gotten a face lift and has some new notes and background vocals, but just as good. " "Diva" proclaims that "A diva is a female version of a hustler" with her bumb and grind music which has a slight resemblence to the music the oompa-loompas sing to! Over-all this is another stellar Album from Beyonce. One that should not be passed by, but may put people off becuase her growth and maturity that she has gone through. The hard-core fans I highly recommend the Deluxe! Hope everyone enjoys!
