Fresh from his heavy remix schedule (for the Sneaker Pimps, the Prodigy, and others), Van Helden returned with a collection of his biggest club scores for Strictly Rhythm from 1993 to 1996, leading off with his first, "Witch Doktor." The rest, though good, follow the same blueprint: street-level house heavy on the samples and a bit short on ideas. They still make for incredible dance music. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
