Adam Lambert is earnest about his dress-up, never winking at the audience because glitter and mascara are just part of what pop stars are supposed to do. Lambert lives in a present that always competes with the past, so he takes it all at face value, mixing up rock guitars, new wave, disco and operatic overdubs with a constant electro pulse, glassy R&B, and new millennium teen pop. All this makes For Your Entertainment very, very modern in a way few mainstream pop albums are in 2009: Lambert sounds larger than life here, just like he wants to, and if there's no sense of danger here, at least there's a lot of pure pop pleasure, more than any other immediate post-American Idol album has delivered. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, Rovi

So so much i could write!!

Dont know what to say. Ive been a huge fan of adam since the beginning. Although the amas may have been kinda wild he is soooo talented. The songs ranging from glam rock and electronic, slow songs and upbeat "struttin" kind of songs get you in a great mood and the slow deep songs calm you down. All the songs on this album are good and contain that amazing signature scream that we all know and love:) this album was definitely adam and definitely i think what his fans are looking for. I definitely was. Ive listened to this cd 30 times over at least by now. I recommend all the songs upbeat: music again, fever,sure fire winners, and if i had you, slow: aftermath, sleepwalker, whataya want from me. Just to name some. Its an AMAZING cd just like its singer:^) give it a listen or youll just be missing out. Very much. Keep Rockin ADAM:)
