Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap was finally released in America in 1981, almost six years after it was originally recorded for European circulation. The track listing was changed somewhat for the American release, as "Love at First Feel" replaces "Jailbreak" and "Rock in Peace." And for some odd reason, "Problem Child," which was already on 1977's Let There Be Rock, is also on the American edition and makes fans wonder why it couldn't have been deleted and replaced with a previously unreleased track. The record certainly has its highlights, such as the title track, "Ride On," and "Big Balls," a hilarious inside joke of a song similar to that of "The Jack." Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap is a decent recording, giving fans a bit of Bon Scott nostalgia. ~ Barry Weber, All Music Guide
